Telescopic Boom/Sliding Arm Details
The sliding arm is designed to dig deep wells, foundation pits, tunnels, and sewage systems for municipal purposes.
Since our establishment in 2018, we have over 6 years of experience. Our engineers bring more than 10 years of expertise in crafting customized long arms for various excavator brands.
Our product is suitable for all models of excavators, with full OEM services available.
We implement an advanced manufacturing process that adheres to global standards.
We possess installation dimensions for most excavators, enabling us to customize this long arm specifically for your needs.
Prior to welding, we use a large milling machine to mill the edges of steel plates, allowing the weld to penetrate deeply for better structural integrity. Reinforcement plates are also added for strength.
If necessary, we can include additional pipes for various applications.
You can use your original arm cylinder with our long boom to minimize costs; we can also supply a new cylinder if needed.
Some parts can be reinforced with thicker plates or by adding overlapping plates for heavy-duty applications.
Our welding method employs shielded gas welding, utilizing a mixture of 80% argon and 20% carbon dioxide, recognized as the gold standard.

(UPPER ARM SLIDING TYPE)
1. Thanks to the hydraulic sliding system in this model, the arm contracts and expands (‘telescopes’) speedily, providing high working efficiency.
2. Sliding mechanisms using rollers on the slide surfaces makes adjustment easy and prevents vertical and horizontal vibrations of the arm, which in turn minimises the wear which shortens arm life.
3. With the arm extended, the excavator can dig to the same depth as machines three (3) classes higher, so this becomes a useful attachment for restricted job sites where a wide working range is needed.

What is the purpose of beveling the long arm/tunnel arm plate?
Most welding machines commonly used in the industry have a penetration depth of only 3mm. Since the thickness of our long arm plate is at least 8mm, without beveling, the welder would not be able to fully penetrate through the entire joint. This would result in weak welds, leading to issues such as weld cracking in the future.
We employ mechanical beveling, whereas other factories rely on manual beveling (as shown in the figure).
